eggie.

My guilty pleasure has to be streaming YouTube videos all day, every day. I have been following one YouTube guru for many years now. You might know her channel Jenn Im of Clothes Encounters. I can't even tell you all the things I've learned from her over the years from styling clothes, applying makeup to posing for pictures. Being in the industry, I've had the chance to meet and converse with Jenn and have worked with her on a few projects. I have to say, she is literally one of the hardest working people I know, and her eye for creativity is out of this world. What I like most about her is what you see is what you get, which is rare to find in the blogging world (trust me on this one). She is just like her YouTube videos- sweet, humble and genuine. And I have mad respect for her as a young, Asian American woman paving the way to success in the states. I could not be more proud of her for launching her clothing line: Eggie (baby in Korean) that truly represents the Korean American heritage and personal style.

Without further adieu, check out my take on styling, Eggie. And yes, the outfit can't be complete without her signature beret.

So over winter.

As an East Coaster, I LOVE how I get to experience all four seasons throughout the year, but unless you're still in school, snow days mean you have to wake up early to clean off your car and brave the roads to get to work. NO FUN whatsoever. Counting down the days when I can walk around without a coat on.

Final days of fall.

Hate to admit it, but winter is just around the corner. I don't know about you guys, but I already have to wear my winter coats during my morning commute to work. Here's to embracing the final days I can walk around the city without a coat and expose my pale legs outdoors!

Channeling my inner Audrey Hepburn.

Reminiscing the cruise I was on just a few weeks ago. Although I desperately missed the fast wi-fi connection back at home, it was nice to just sit and do nothing, but stare out at the ocean for hours.

And of course, with the breathtaking view of the sunset and a fancy cocktail, I just had to have my very first Audrey moment. Big floppy hat, check! Over-sized sunglasses, check! Bold lipstick, check! Fancy jewelry, check! Black dress, not so much. Here's my "nautical" take on the Audrey look with an off-the-shoulder, striped dress from Asos. I've been DYING to find the perfect "off-the-shoulder" dress that I could wear for both fancy and/or casual occasions and when I finally found one I literally squealed. The material of this dress makes it super comfortable too, which is always a perk! I'll definitely be sporting this number all throughout summer.

I end today with one of my favorite inspirational quotes from Audrey Hepburn herself, "Nothing is impossible, the word itself says 'I'm POSSIBLE'!"
