Weekend style.

I typically live in shorts in the summertime because walking around the city during the hottest time of the year is a “tanning” opportunity I refuse to miss out on (if you’re pale like me, you’ll understand). The east coast weather has consistently stayed warm (thank goodness), but I like to prepare for the cooler temperatures indoors and no better way to do so than with a light jacket.

I LOVE this blue bomber from Asos- the super lightweight jacket has a baseball collar that instantly gives off a sporty chic look, especially when you roll up your sleeves. The silky blue colored fabric gives you the pop of color you deserve for summer! Finished off the look with comfy white tennis shoes, a choker necklace and a pair of hoops for some glam.

Street style approved.

From my experiences of attending fashion week in New York, Miami and Toronto, "street style" isn't always about going overboard with colors, patterns and the works, sometimes simply adding on some accessories can easily vamp up your every day look. 

There's nothing like an on-trend pair of sunglasses to get you started. My favorite are these fashion-forward, mirrored sunglasses from polette (only $18.99, what a steal) that add an instant touch of cool to any look. And of course, I had to top it off with this summer's hottest trend of "off the shoulder tops" and a fun, neon pink bucket bag from Rebecca Minkoff (on sale now at Bloomies :D) because why not?!

Live Colorfully.

Time to spring forward with daylight savings time! Although, I'm not fond of losing an hour of sleep, I am fond of leaving work and seeing some daylight before I get home. Here's to one step closer to warmer weather!

Winter blues.

Winter Blues

Back in New York City for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, Fall/Winter 2015. Happy to be back, but not feeling the cold, winter weather. It's all about layers to stay warm and comfortable shoes to avoid those high-heel blisters. To add a bit of a flare, a bold lipstick and pop of color is a MUST!
