welcome autumn.

Happy first day of autumn, loves. I can't believe next week is the start of October already! Bring on the #PSL's and pumpkin flavored everything really.

Lately in the fashion scene, it's been all about throwing it back. And for fall, we're going way back... think Renaissance style. From warm tones, velvet, corsets, bell sleeves-you name it! What I like the most about this trend is the instant luxe effect it has on the wearer. You can seriously be sporting a velvet top with some jeans, and you'll still look and feel luxurious!

I edged up this trend a bit to make it more my own with a leather jacket and silver, glittery sock boots because why not?!

So long sweet summer.

Took a spontaneous mid-week trip to Clear Meadow Farm to visit the field of sunflowers- what better way to bid farewell to summer?! Sunflowers always make me smile. Not sure if it's from the feelings of nostalgia of growing sunflowers with my dad in our garden back in the day, or if it's because they always just look like they're smiling as they face the sun. Either way, a field of never-ending sunflowers is a road trip I could not resist.

I have slowly started "transitioning" my summer clothes to fall clothes with warmer tones (olive green is my go-to for autumn) and with loose, lightweight cardigans like the one I'm wearing from Brandy Melville.

Excited to see what fall has in store this year. And cannot wait to munch on pumpkin flavored everything!

Baltimore best dressed.

If you follow me on Instagram or Snapchat, you'll know that I finally made the move to Charm City and have been busy settling into the new city! I could not have felt more welcomed into the fashion world of Baltimore, than with two back-to-back editorial features.

Thank you to the wonderful street style photographer, Colby Ware for featuring my style in The Baltimore Sun online. Totally an unexpected surprise. And I could not have felt more honored than to be named one of Baltimore's best dressed in the September issue of Baltimore Magazine, along side Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake and the infamous "Bowtie Bob."
